Two 60 minute presentations to an audience of academics, community members and students on the significance of these gestures for 1) learning and integrating a language to remove barriers to learning; 2) the sociopolitical meaning behind these gestures; 3) what they tell you about Turkish culture and the ensuing awareness of your own.
